    Epub Maxine Case Ý Epub Softness of the Lime ePUB ó Softness of MOBI Ã Ý it uralpro softness mobile, lime free, Softness of download, Softness of the Lime ePUBI gave this book just two stars because it was the opposite of absorbing or gripping I really wanted to like it especially after I attended an event which included an interview with the author The Madagascar connection also appealed to me given that I lived there for a couple of years But the book was disappointing It reads like a history of the Cape in the late eighteenth century told through the eyes of Geert the main character interspersed with the story of Lena and her experiences as a young girl in Madagascar before being sold as a slave in the Cape The characters never develop or ripen Lena keeps her thoughts to herself and even though the narrative gives her a voice I never particularly cared about what happened to her She is almost transparent lacking any solid qualities Geert is weak and ineffectual allowing life to happen to him rather than taking any positive steps to take control of events or even of hi

    Epub Maxine Case Ý Epub Softness of the Lime ePUB ó Softness of MOBI Ã Ý it uralpro softness mobile, lime free, Softness of download, Softness of the Lime ePUBAn interesting book with well shaped characters I read this book while sick in a motel in Madagascar it was interesting to read the parts set in this country and notice how life has changed and yet stayed the same outside my door Afterwards I spoke to my tour guide about the history of slavery in Madagascar which he said is not really discussed and was not taught to him at school level I’m glad this book touches a bit on this history
